Ingredients
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup canola oil
- 1/4 cup Bragg Liquid Aminos
- 1/4 cup diced red beet
- 2 tablespoons vegan beef or mushroom flavored bouillon paste
- 1 1/2 cups cremini mushrooms, quartered
- 3 cloves garlic
- 3/4 cup oat flour
- 3 tablespoons flax meal
- 1 1/4 cup vital wheat gluten
Steps
- Add all the ingredients except the gluten to a food processor and blend until smooth.
- Add the gluten and knead for a few minutes, until the gluten has developed.
- Cut into large chunks and steam them for 10-12 minutes, until brown on the outside but still pink on the inside.
- Transfer back to the food processor and pulse until just ground.
