Fronch Toast

Ingredients

  • Day-old bread in 1 inch slices
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup chickpea flour
  • 1 1/2 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • Refined coconut oil

Steps

  • Whisk together the almond milk and cornstarch in a shallow bowl.
  • Add the chickpea flour and nutritional yeast, and beat until mostly absorbed.
  • Heat and grease a frying pan.
  • Soak slices of bread in the mixture and fry until golden brown.
