Fronch Toast
Ingredients
- Day-old bread in 1 inch slices
- 1 cup almond milk
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/4 cup chickpea flour
- 1 1/2 tbsp nutritional yeast
- Refined coconut oil
Steps
- Whisk together the almond milk and cornstarch in a shallow bowl.
- Add the chickpea flour and nutritional yeast, and beat until mostly absorbed.
- Heat and grease a frying pan.
- Soak slices of bread in the mixture and fry until golden brown.
