Ingredients

1 batch of pie crust

6 eggs

255 g (1 cup) half and half

1/2 tsp salt (to taste)

A few turns of freshly ground black pepper

Whatever you want to put in it -- veggies, cheese, spices, go wild
Steps
- Make the pie crust and put it in the fridge to rest (ideally for about half an hour)
- In the mean time, whisk together the eggs and cream and add in all the other ingredients.
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F
- Roll the crust out and put it in a 9 inch pie pan.
- Poke holes in the crust with a fork to vent, and blind bake the crust for 10 minutes.
- Add the filling to the crust, and bake for about 35 minutes, until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown.
- Cool for 15 minutes before eating.
