Molasses Jewelbox Cookies

Ingredients

1 cup butter

1 cup molasses

2 cups light brown sugar, packed

4 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp cinnamon

3 squares grated baking chocolate
Steps
- Cream the butter, molasses, and sugar until smooth and light.
- Blend in the flour, baking soda, and cinnamon.
- Add the chocolate and mix until completely combined
- Refrigerate the dough for a few hours.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- Roll the dough very think on a lightly floured surface, about 1/4 of the dough at a time.
- Cut with cookie cutters into shapes and arrange on a greased baking sheet
- Bake for 10 - 12 minutes.
